7.1 Image Adjustment

- Image Modes
There are four predefined image modes available.

Activating the Individual option allows you to manually configure the parameters
- Image brightness
- Contrast
- Shade
- saturation
- sharpness
- Color Temperature Selection: Standard, Hot and Cold

- Advanced Image Modes

In the Aspect Ratio menu, a manual setting to 16:9 or 4:3 can be made. The factory default is 16:9, which is the native aspect ratio of the display.
The Dynamic Backlight option adjusts the image brightness to the content, e.g. the display brightness is reduced if the displayed content is rather dark.
hint:
Dynamic backlighting can only be activated when the brightness sensor and HDR mode are disabled.
The Overscan option can be enabled when the image is cropped at the edges.
The Noise Reduction option activates a blur.
Under gamma, an adjustment of the gamma curve can be made. You can choose between Off, 2.2 and 2.4.
The HDR mode option increases the dynamic range with appropriate signal input.
The ambient light sensor dynamically adjusts the brightness of the backlight to the ambient brightness.
Reset Video Settings – resets all individual video options settings to factory settings
7.2 Audio Settings

The "Built-in Speakers" option allows you to manually turn off the built-in speakers. If the Auto option is selected, the internal speakers are usually switched off as soon as an external speaker is detected.
7.3 System Settings

7.3.1 Language Setting
You can choose from the following languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish and Hungarian

7.3.2 OSD Transparency
Here you can set the transparency of the menu between 0% (Off) and 75%.

7.3.3 Automatic Source Switching
If this option is activated, the display will automatically switch when a new device is connected. In case of signal loss, the display switches to the next available source.
hint:
Enable this "Fail-Over" feature if you want to prevent the display from showing "no signal" because the primary source has failed.

7.3.4 Digital Screen Protector
Protects the display from burn-in effects during the long-term display of static content by adjusting the gamma curve. The options are Off, 5, 10, 15 and 20 minutes.

7.3.5 Rotate Screen
Rotates the menu by 0°, 90°, 180°, 270°, e.g. when the display is mounted upright.

hint:
The image signal must be played from the source, e.g. a PC, rotated accordingly.
7.3.6 HDMI Settings
hint:
The HDMI settings can only be accessed if one of the two HDMI inputs is selected.
Using CEC , the display can control external devices via HDMI cable, or vice versa. A player can thus turn the display on and off without additional media control, e.g. or vice versa.
hint:
The specific functionality depends on the stored commands and their compatibility of the devices used.
In the EDID , resolution, refresh rate, color depth, etc. are defined.
You can choose from:
EDID 1.4 = 3840×2160 @ 30 Hz (10.2 Gbps)
EDID 2.0 = 3840×2160 @ 60 Hz (18 Gbps)

hint:
If stable image transmission is not possible with the EDID setting 4K60, for example because the cable is of inferior quality or too long, it can help to change the EDID configuration to 4K30, the Significantly reduces the demands on the signal chain without noticeably influencing the image quality.
7.3.7 VGA Settings
hint:
The VGA settings can only be accessed when the VGA input is selected.
The "Automatically Adjust" option tries to display the VGA signal optimally on the display, otherwise horizontal and vertical position as well as clock and phase can be adjusted manually.
7.4 Power Adjustment
7.4.1 Wake on LAN
The display can be switched on via Wake on LAN command via network command.
The MAC address can be found here in the settings menu -> About -> network settings.

hint:
Wake-on-LAN only works if the display is connected via LAN cable and is in stand-by mode. The MAC address of the LAN port is required for control.
7.4.2 Stand-by without signal
Here you can set whether and if so, with what delay the display will be switched off if no input signal is available. You can choose from: Off / 5 / 15 / 30 minutes.

7.4.3 Time Settings
Here you can set the day of the week and the time.
If the display is connected to the Internet via network cable, the "Automatically from the time server" option can be activated.

hint:
A maximum of 8 plans can be stored at a time.
7.4.4 Scheduled Power On/Off
Here you configure the timed switching on and off of the display.
The display is automatically switched on or off from standby to define time.

hint:
If both the control buttons and the infrared remote control are locked, the display can only be controlled via media control (RS232/IP command).
7.5.3 Power LED
Here you can turn off the status LED on the front of the display if the light is disturbing, for example in a video wall application.

7.5.4 Menu Display Time
Here you can set how long it takes for the onscreen menu to disappear automatically. You can choose from Off (never) / 5 / 10 / 20 / 30 seconds.
7.5.5 Picture in Picture (PiP)
The picture-in-picture function allows a second video signal to be displayed in a part of the display.
The window can be displayed either Top Left / Top Right / Bottom Left / Bottom Right in the size of 1/8 or 1/4.
Window 1 = Full Screen
Window 2 = partial image
With the Audio Source option, you decide from which source the sound is played.

7.5.6 Picture next to Picture (PBP)
If this option is activated, the screen will be split in half and two video sources will be displayed side by side.
Window 1 = Left
Window 2 = Right
With the Audio Source option, you decide from which source the sound is played.

hint:
Activating the PBP function changes the EDID information of the source and halves the horizontal resolution. This ensures that the content is displayed proportionally correctly.
7.5.7 RS232
With this option, you activate the controllability of the display via RS232 and network, see Chapter 9. By default, this option is disabled.

7.5.8 Temperature Monitoring
An integrated sensor permanently measures the operating temperature. If certain values are exceeded, a warning is first displayed on the display and finally the shutdown takes place.
When the temperature reaches 63°C and stays at this level for an hour, a warning is displayed.
If the temperature reaches 68°C for more than 10 minutes, a 180 second countdown is initiated and the display is switched off.
The feature is factory-enabled to protect the display from overheating.

hint:
Switching off the temperature control is at your own risk. If the display is damaged by overheating, this is not covered by the warranty.
